Point Venture is located on the north shore of Lake Travis, Northwest of Austin, Texas.

Directions
From the Houston area, take 290 west to 183 North. (Or IH-10 West to 71 North, and then to 183 North). Take 183A (toll road) at Cedar Park to the FM 1431 exit. Turn west (left) on FM 1431, and travel for about 12 miles to the stoplight at Lago Vista. (Note: FM 1431 has many hills and curves, so be sure to drive with caution, especially if you are pulling a boat.) Turn left at the stoplight onto Lohman's Ford Rd. (Note: There is a CVS Pharmacy and Super-S Grocery store on the corner, and this is a good place to buy groceries or other items you might need for your stay). From the Dallas area, take IH-35 South to the FM 1431 exit. Turn west (right) on FM 1431, and travel for about 20 miles to the stoplight at Lago Vista. (Note: FM 1431 has many hills and curves, so be sure to drive with caution, especially if you are pulling a boat.) Turn left at the stop light onto Lohman's Ford Rd. (Note: There is a CVS Pharmacy and Super-S Grocery store on the corner, and this is a good place to buy groceries or other items you might need for your stay). From the San Antonio area, take Highway 281 to Marble Falls. Turn east (right) on FM 1431, and travel for about 27 miles to the stop light at Lago Vista. (Note: FM 1431 has many hills and curves, so be sure to drive with caution, especially if you are pulling a boat.) Turn right at the stoplight onto Lohman's Ford Rd. (Note: There is a CVS Pharmacy and Super-S Grocery store on the corner, and this is a good place to buy groceries or other items you might need for your stay). From Lago Vista, follow Lohman's Ford Rd. for about 7 miles, where you will see the entrance to Point Venture on your right. ( Note: You will pass several small stores on this road that you may want to remember about just in case you forgot something and want somewhere close to get it).
Turn right into Point Venture. There will be a guard who will be looking for a Point Venture sticker on your car. Without one you will have to have get a temporary pass. Stop and tell him you will be staying for a few days at our address of 533 VENTURE BLVD. SOUTH and give him the dates you plan on staying. He will give you a yellow pass to place in your windshield with the date you will be departing and "ALL" written on it so that you will have access to all the amenities.
Turn right into Point Venture. There will be a guard who will be looking for a Point Venture sticker on your car. Without one you will have to have get a temporary pass. Stop and tell him you will be staying for a few days at our address of 533 VENTURE BLVD. SOUTH and give him the dates you plan on staying. As you enter watch out for deer and come to the first fork in the road. Turn left on Venture Blvd. S. (the first fork) and follow the signs to the Marina. Follow this road passing the tennis courts, golf course, staying on the left forks, and start looking for 533 on your left...and you're there!
If you were to continue, not even a block, past 533 on Venture Blvd. S., you will see the clubhouse area, community swimming pool, marina and The Pier on Lake Travis restaurant.
